About Us

WE NEED YOU SUPPORT

We need your help to make our 2nd Annual Quartermania a success! Every seat filled means more lives saved. As a small, all-volunteer rescue, this event is our biggest chance to raise the funds needed to provide food, medical care, and safe homes for our dogs. By attending, you’re not only joining a day full of fun, shopping, raffles, and surprises — you’re also giving hope to dogs who desperately need a second chance. Bring your friends, spread the word, and help us pack the room with love and laughter for the Little Ones!

A Winning Team

The Little Ones Animal Center is a compassionate, unique, non-profit organization in Orange County.

We are a no-kill facility. We receive no government funding and rely  heavily on tax-deductible contributions from private donors to continue to save as many precious Little Ones as we can.

You are the key to saving lives. It takes all of us to make this mission happen.  Join our fight to save these precious little ones.

FOSTERING SAVES LIVES

We need your loving heart. There are many ways you can invest your time in saving these precious dogs lives; one of the most important is FOSTERING for a short term. There are no words that can express the pride you feel when you see one of our companions being carried to their forever loving home!

A JOURNEY OF HOPE: SASHA'S RESCUE STORY

A JOURNEY OF HOPE: SASHA'S RESCUE STORY

Let me introduce you to Sasha!

Sasha and her eight puppies were left in a box outside the doors of a county facility where dogs face heartbreaking experiences. We received an email from this county facility giving us only 72 hours to save Sasha and her puppies from euthanasia. Our dedicated rescue team, The Little Ones Animal Center sprang into action. Faced with insurmountable odds, we reached out to trusted allies, other rescues in CA, OR, WA, and UTAH and offered a $1,000 reward from our own pockets to seek refuge for Sasha and her pups, only to find all doors briefly closed. Undeterred by these challenges, we turned to the media, reaching out to all the TV news stations to highlight this dire situation. During our relentless efforts, one station heard our plea, spotlighting Sasha's story, which helped to secure her a crucial reprieve of three weeks. When Sasha's puppies reached the age of eight weeks old, they were all adopted, but Sasha once again was placed on the 72 hours euthanasia list. We at that point rescued her and she is thriving in her foster home, ready to be adopted into her forever home! Sasha has become one of our favorite and most loving little dogs here at our rescue!
